Atten-hut! Looking for a few good men....and women and children to fix bayonets, or shovels rather, to improve our wildlands around Lake Hodges.
The Del Dios Habitat Protection League (DDHPL) is a group of local volunteers who are working to restore the native riparian habitat of Lake Hodges and you can directly involved by showing up at 8am to Del Dios Park.
Volunteer and get some dirt time in our wildlands. Meet up at Del Dios Park
wearing closed toed shoes and bring water. Events last about 2 hours and
are kid friendly. Use a hammer to plant mulefat and willow cuttings or get a
shovel and plant sycamore trees.
