Escondido, CA. Lake Hodges resident's mourn the passing of longtime local Don Boy. Don, a local real estate broker, made a huge contribution to Lake Hodges residents by leading an effort to allow residents to purchase lots abutting their own from the City of San Diego. Although these lots could never have homes built on them, they do allow septic leech line expansion space but more importantly allowed residents to create gardens, orchards and stables in essence further beautifying the neighborhood. Don will be sadly missed as he was a walking historian on Escondido homes and Lake Hodges and was always generous to impart or share his knowledge and wisdom. Many will be glad to know that Don passed away while enjoying one of his favorite things on earth...surfing. May his legacy of being a huge positive influence on the community never be forgotten.
