This meeting will feature the Del Dios Habitat Protection League's forum on the Gold Spotted Oak Borer (GSOB) is confirmed for tomorrow (Wed) evening at 6:30 at the Ole Fire House.
Presenters will be:
Dr. Tom Scott: UC Riverside - Conservation Biologist and primary research associate on GSOB
Kevin Turner: Southern California Invasive Pest Coordinator, Department of Forestry and Fire Protection
The threat to Lake Hodges oak trees is very real and very serious as the oak trees are the basis of our ecosystem.
The top scientist on the Gold-spotted oak borer (bastard bug!!!) from UC Riverside will be there to let us know what we can do to SAVE Our TREES....please come to this meeting if you can: let's fight this threat together!!!
